2018 Salk Health Activist Fellowship
The Jewish Healthcare Foundation and Health Careers Futures are pleased to announce the 2018 Jonas Salk Health Activist Fellowship—an incubator for emerging health activists. Undergraduate students, graduate students, or employees in health-related disciplines are encouraged to apply by September 7. Over nine weeks, fellows will form an action group and develop skills to build a case for action, shape winning strategies, and advocate effectively around a health issue in which they are passionate. In addition to learning how to change policies, practices, and perspectives, the fellows will also have the opportunity to pitch their idea at the Health Activist Expo on November 29. The Fellowship sessions will occur on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm (dinner included) at the QI2T Center and select locations in the Pittsburgh community. Please contact Scotland Huber at huber@jhf.org for additional information.
