Julia is a research associate at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Behavioral Health and Smart Technology. She graduated from Washington University where she studied Education Studies focusing on policy and minored in Children Studies. For the Jonas Salk Fellowship, Julia has teamed up with Dr. Alicia Boykin and Vivianne Oyefusi who share her passion for adolescent health. Together they are working on a project they call The Dinner Club, which will offer a weekly forum for peer-peer support, mentorship, education about and access to resources, socio-emotional development, and, of course, good, healthy food to teenage girls in the Pittsburgh region.
We are excited to see where her project goes!
