This will give you the chance to meet our 2017 Jonas Salk Health Activist Fellows and hear about their projects!
To kick off the series, meet Amanda Budzowski who sat down with us to discuss her passions, what health activism means to her, and how she got to where she is now. Through the 2017 Jonas Salk Fellowship, Amanda has been able to hone in on her passions. At first, her project was focused around organ donation for people with pulmonary hypertension. Now, she's developing her health activism campaign around addressing social determinants of health as indicators and predictors of health. Her project is called "Connecting the Dots in Social Determinants of Health: Activating the Frontline".
